The literature workshop in Berlin and the Crespo Foundation, write to 18 Times the open mike from. It will award three prizes, a prize for poetry and two prizes for prose. The open mike is endowed with 7,500 EUR.
Participation is open to German-language authors who are not older than 35 years (as of 7/15/2010) and still not have a book publication is strong. can be submitted either short prose, a self-contained excerpt from a large text or poetry. The texts may have been to the final round in November, either published (also relates to the Internet, magazines, anthologies and documentation of any kind), nor on any other competition or scholarship submitted. Each participant can submit only one entry.
The scope of the submitted texts must be similar to a 15-minute reading time. Clearly too long or too short entries are not in the selection round.
default format: A4 size, printed on one side, size 12, line spacing 1.5. The manuscripts must be in duplicate, as loose sheets are sent (without binding). On the manuscript pages may not be the sender's name appear even a numerical code, password or similar. A short biography with address, phone number and e-mail address must be included. A return of the manuscripts can be done unfortunately.
